While they have already wrapped a co-production web show for Amazon Prime called Breathe, starring R Madhavan and Amit Sadh, they have a lot more interesting new age projects about to roll. And one such project is tying up with the production house Abundantia led by Vikram Malhotra to make Men Who Killed Gandhi, for the digital platform. Being directed by National award winning Rajesh Mapuskar, who helmed Ventilator, this is one show that will rock the digital world.

Taking about his production house, Akashdeep says, "Sheeba and I started this production house in 1986. We have worked on many projects together. Starting with Karishma – The Miracles of Destiny, which started Karishma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan, Jugal Hansraj to introducing Johnny Lever on television with Johny Ala Re and Chappar Phaad ke with Govinda for Sony. Last year, we finished Bhoot Aaya; A True Horror Story for Sony. We have also done big award shows like Filmfare, Indian Television Awards and Screen Awards."

As far as the the vision of the company goes, Akashdeep says that they want to produce innovative content. "Not just web series, we want to do out-of-the box films and explore other entertainment avenues. I am creating content for the digital platform be it with music celebrities or theatre personalities, and lots of other stuff. We are working on a couple of TV show ideas also, which we have pitched to channels. We will also be doing a feature film next year," he says.

Besides these projects, Akashdeep is also enjoying watching Sheeba in Haasil and is sure that the show has a bright future. "I have enjoyed Haasil, I find it very different from the rest cliched stuff in TV. It is slightly grander in scale also and I like the way it is being shot. I am sure it will attract youngsters also, the way it is being treated and the content, is very modern," he says.
