Suicide over Telangana row

The Capital on Thursday saw a suicide behind Krishi Bhawan area near Central Secretariat. In a very uncouth attempt to have his word heard by the government, Mandadi Adhireddy, a 31-year-old from Andhra Pradesh was found hanging from a tree in the back lawns of the premises.

State of play
According to reports, Mandadi was upset over the delay in resolving the matters of the Telangana region of his state. Confirming the incident, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi district) Seju P Kuruvilla, said, "Mandadi Adhireddy, a resident of Rangareddy district of Andhra Pradesh was found hanging on a tree behind the Krishi Bhawan complex, near Parliament house. He had a voluminous 10-page suicide note with him which is being translated. The intricacies of this suicide are being investigated."

Last words
Mandadi also had a placard on his body that had names of media persons and politicians with captions that demanded intensification of the process of creation of Telangana. Adjacent to his body was a bag that contained a mobile phone, identity card and a phone book.

The bag, believed to be his, contained a train ticket whose particulars state that he'd come to Delhi on July 18 via Sampark Kranti Express, boarding from Kachiguda Railway station.
