Birthday boy Kohli has lady love by his side as team lands in Rajkot for next week’s opening Test against England; Skipper Kohli cuts cake at team hotel with actress and teammates
If there are any doubts over the relationship status of Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma, here’s some clarity. The India Test captain, who turned 28 on Saturday, landed with the rest of his team in Rajkot for the opening Test (Nov 9 to 13) against England with his lady love firmly by his side.

Kohli and Anushka emerged from Rajkot airport around noon on Saturday holding hands, with the cricketer protectively guiding her through the hordes of fans and security towards a waiting car to be driven to the team hotel. The couple didn’t even let go of each other’s hand inside the car en route to the hotel, it is learnt.
Kohli’s hotel room was decorated with balloons and petals by the hotel staff, who were ready with a cake which Kohli cut with Anushka by his side along with a few close friends and teammates.

He then left for the Rajkot Stadium with the rest of the team for a practice session later in the afternoon while Anushka stayed back at the hotel.
It is learnt that the actor will be in Rajkot for the next couple of days but is scheduled to leave before the first Test begins.
