'Nawab of Twitter' Virender Sehwag is at it again. The former India opener turned 'Gabbar' to compliment 'wristy' VVS Laxman on his 42nd birthday

'Nawab of Twitter' Virender Sehwag is at it again. The former India opener was at his rib-tickling best while wishing former teammate VVS Laxman on his 42nd birthday.

One of Sehwag's nicknames may be called 'Viru', like Dharmendra's character in 'Sholay', but the 37-year-old ex-cricketer turned 'Gabbar' for Laxman.
In what a salute to Laxman's dexterous and wristy style of batting, Sehwag suggested that if the Hyderabad-born cricketer had been in 'Sholay' then Gabbar would have said, "Yeh kalaai (wrist) humka dede Laxman."
The 'Very Very Special' cricketer was a mainstay in the Indian middle order and part of the 'Fab Four' along with Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly in the early 2000s.
Laxman scored 17 centuries and 56 fifties with an impressive average of 45.97 during his Test career. But it is his match-saving and epic knock of 281 against Australia at Eden Gardens, regarded by many as one of the best innings in cricket history, that is the most talked about.
