Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the film's story revolves around a dysfunctional Punjabi family on a cruise trip. Anil, Shefali, Ranveer and Priyanka are part of the Mehra family in 'Dil Dhadakne Do', while Anushka plays Farah Ali and Farhan essays the role of Sunny Gill.
