The call-up came just a few hours after Luca took part in a training session with Real's first team, following last Saturday's away win over Malaga (1-0).
Enzo's call-up to the national team caused quite a media stir in France. The youngster plays in a similar position to his father, which attracted several members of the media to Clairefontaine Castle, on the outskirts of Paris, where the French squad is currently training.
'Zizou' has always praised Luca, who currently plays with Real's Under-16s, for persistently training to improve his game.
Enzo and Luca, as well as 11-year-old Theo and 9-year-old Elyaz, who also play for Real Madrid's youth academy, all qualify to play for France, where their father played his international football, or Spain, their mother's country of birth, and where they live.
