The Terms and Conditions:

  1. The MiD DAY ‘Vodafone presents India 9 – 5 Contest’ is organized by MiD DAY Infomedia Limited, Mumbai ("Organizers").
  2. Participation in Contest is purely voluntary. There is no participation fee. To be eligible for the participation in the Contest, participant must be an Indian resident who has completed the age of 18 years at the time of participation in the Contest.
  3. Preliminary Contest shall be open from 00:00 hours on 1st of August, 2009 and close on 31st August, 2009 at 23.59 hours ("Contest Period"). This contest is open for Vodafone Subscribers only. Entries received post the closing of the Contest Period shall not be considered and the same will be invalid. Organizers shall not be responsible for delayed or illegible entries. Organizers have the sole and absolute right to close or extend the Contest by any time frame at their discretion.
  4. To get a chance to win the prizes, , the Vodafone subscriber needs to participate in the Contest by sending the Clicked photograph (entry) by sending a MMS to mms@mid-day.com along with His/Her Name, Caption, Time of Photograph & Vodafone Number. To be eligible for prizes, users would need to comply with the rules as set forth herein within the prescribed time period and complete the formalities as mentioned. The photographs must observe the following criteria to get selected as a winner:

    1. The photos must be recent i.e. 1st August 2009 onwards.
    2. The time frame has to be between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
    3. The photos must be from Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore & Pune only.
    4. No derogatory photographs

  5. Once the photographs are screened based on the above mentioned criteria, the photographs will be uploaded on mid-day.com in the India 9 to 5 section.
  6. Selection of the winners will be done by screening their photograph entries along with the caption. The best photograph will be featured in MiD DAY. The winners will be chosen on a daily basis from each of the cities i.e. Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore & Pune. All data shall solely vest with the Organizers. Final 6 Winners shall be informed individually by letters / emails / telephone calls. The winners must collect his/her prize within 30 days of the announcement of the winners. If the winners fail to collect their prize within the stipulated time frame, he/she can hold no right on the prize.
  7. The prizes mentioned are liable to change.
  8. Prizes received under Contest shall not be transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or otherwise. Prizes cannot be substituted for other articles or gifts.
  9. Names, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail identities and/or photographs of Winners may be used by Organizers at their sole discretion for sending out commercial information and/or for other commercial, publicity or promotional purposes.
  10. Organizers shall not be responsible for any cost, expense or other liability whatsoever in relation to, arising from or connected with Prizes.
  11. Organizers offer no guarantee or warranty in respect of any of the prizes. The manufacturers, services providers, supplier of the Prizes alone shall be liable for any guarantee or warranty, if any.
  12. Apart from the entitlement to the prize, the winner or his/her legal heirs will have no other rights or claims against MiD DAY Infomedia Ltd.
  13. MiD DAY has sole rights on all the photographs submitted & has the right to use any of the photographs for any future use or promotion.
  14. All decisions of Organizers in relation to Contest shall be final and binding upon participants and Winners. No correspondence or objection shall be entertained in this regard.
  15. Any disputes arising from or in relation to Contest shall be subject exclusively to Mumbai jurisdiction. Employees of MiD Day Infomedia Limited and/or their associate, subsidiary or joint venture companies and their respective immediate family members shall not be eligible to participate in Contest.
  16. Participation in this Contest implies acceptance of all the terms and conditions of the Contest.
