Mumbai: The Ex-Files
Imran Khan has gone on record in several interviews saying that the one actor he admires the most and really looks forward to working with is Ranbir Kapoor. Want to know why? Well the reason isn't that he wants to be good friends with the competition, but something more. It is learnt that Imran's girlfriend Avantika Malik was dating Ranbir before Imran, and when that relationship ended, Imran had a word with Ranbir. Apparently, both Ranbir and Imran had even done their internship with the same television production house where they learnt production. Now that Imran has Avantika and Ranbir's found Deepika, the two have forgotten the weirdness of the past and decided to move on. How adult no? Funny, considering they're the young'uns!

Himesh's competitor?
Another singer is harboring ambitions to become an actor. Sources reveal that Sukhwinder Singh is in talks with a producer to launch him in a masala film. Apparently, Sukhwinder is in talks with AR Rahman to give the music for the project and is on the hunt for a fresh new face opposite him. A source says, "Sukhwinder is very serious about his Bollywood launch. In fact, the singer has already started working out to look fit for the role." Even though details are sketchy, the film is supposed to be a love story based on reincarnation. Now isn't that what Himesh's Karzzzz is all about ? Let the battle begin!

Yeh kya hai?
After Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif it is now Hansikaa's turn to become an artist. Apparently, it's a hobby for her and she paints when she gets the time. But we're still trying to figure out what she's trying to paint. Himesh Reshammiya as she sees him or an alien who looks like a giraffe?

Back to school
While shooting for a scene in Singh Is Kinng, Akshay Kumar had to jet ski but soon learned that he would not be allowed to do so without a license. Producer Vipul Shah adds, "It takes three days to get a jet-ski license but Akshay spoke to them and explained our time constraints. He did a three-day course in one day (12 hours). He got up at 6 am and got his license by 7 pm. He had to give a written and practical exam. The action scene we have shot is one of the most expensive ones that Bollywood has ever seen and has been directed by action director Danny Baldwin." Hope he doesn't make it look too easy!

A size-zero birdie from Lokhandwala chirped to say that Priyanka Chopra hasn't visited 'good friend' Harman Baweja ever since he returned from the Jaipur outdoor of Ajit Pal's Victory. Otherwise Piggy Chops's Merc was a permanent fixture outside the Baweja home till late in the night. Really, Harman, it's time you kissed and

Biwi ki baat
Amitabh Bachchan has been blogging on http://blogs.bigadda. com/ab/ 2008/08/01/ day-99i-ut-photo-private/ on everyone from Abhishek to Madhuri Dixit in The Unforgettables show but when it comes to his wife this it what he has to say, "100 days!! And the wife! On stage. Delivering a message on global warming." Come on Mr B, surely you can do better than that… better half and all that, no?

Here's why it's a late draw
Ambika Hinduja under whose banner (Serendipity) the Bachchan-starrer Teen Patti is being produced stresses it's the production house and not Big B who's behind the delay in their US schedule. "We have planned the America schedule early next year based on the permissions it has secured for the required shooting locations. Mr Bachchan has been more than co-operative in giving us the dates we require. Shooting for the second schedule of the film begins in Mumbai from August 25." As you say…
