Virat Kohli vs Anil Kumble:
During the 2017 Champions Trophy, it was said there was not much communication between Virat Kohli and Anil Kumble during the practice sessions. However, BCCI members stated there was no rift between the two and also confirmed Kumble's continuing as coach. Later, Virat Kohli and Anil Kumble met with top brass members of Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) - Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman in order to sort out their differences. It was here where Kohli revealed that his relation with Kumble reached a dead end. Hours before India were leaving for their tour to West Indies, reports came in that Anil Kumble was not accompanying them. Kumble went on to later reveals in a statement on Twitter, that he was quitting as the head coach and also claimed that his partnership with Kohli was 'untenable'. Kumble said, it was after the Champions Trophy had ended, that he was informed for the first time that Kohli had 'reservations' about his coaching style
