Legendary singer-composer Bappi Lahiri was cremated today at Vile Parle crematorium, in Mumbai, after he breathed his last on Tuesday night (February 15) at Mumbai's hospital. Vidya Balan, Mika Singh, MLA Ameet Satam, and other personalities were present at the cremation. The pioneer of disco music in Bollywood passed away at the age of 69. The singer was admitted to Criticare Hospital in Mumbai’s Juhu area. The cause of the singer's death was said to be OSA (obstructive sleep apnea).

Legendary singer and music composer Bappi Lahiri, popularly known as Bappi Da, passed away in a Mumbai hospital at the age of 69. Many celebs were seen arriving at his house to pay their last respects including Shaan, Alka Yagnik, Kajol among others. Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya, actor Richa Chadha and music composer Lalit Pandit expressed their grief and said that though he has left us his music will live forever.

Bollywood singer Ankit Tiwari's father has filed a police complaint against former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli's wife at Mumbai's Bangur Nagar Police Station. He claimed that Kambli's wife Andrea Hewitt allegedly assaulted him by punching him in a Mumbai mall. She did not stop there and even took off her sandals to beat him. However, Kambli and his wife alleged that RK Tiwari deliberately brushed his hand against Andrea. The Bangur Nagar police are now investigating the matter and will take further action after their preliminary investigations
