First look: Penguin chicks born in Mumbai zoo

Two penguin chicks were born in the Mumbai-based Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Udyan, popularly known as the Byculla Zoo, since May this year. The chick's sex determination is yet to be done, a release from the zoo authorities said. Eight penguins - three males and five females - were brought to the Byculla zoo from Coex Aquarium at Seoul in South Korea in 2016, and one of the birds later died.

Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray had launched the electric Victoria carriages at Varsha, his official residence on 14th March. The mayor sat with other people visiting the zoo and seemed to have truly enjoyed herself. Trial runs for the soon-to-be-launched electronic Victoria carriages took place in South Mumbai recently.
