Lead Reclaim and Rubber Products Limited is looking to build on its improving financial performance with a renewed focus on manufacturing capabilities, capacity utilisation and product development. The Ahmedabad-based company's H1 FY27 results reflect a period of considerable business growth, with revenue from operations increasing 64.93% year-on-year to Rs 36.12 crore, compared to Rs 21.90 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The company's profitability registered an even sharper increase during the six-month period. Profit after tax (PAT) rose 223.20% to Rs 3.20 crore, while EBITDA increased 103.55% to Rs 5.74 crore. EBITDA margins expanded from 12.88% to 15.89%, indicating an improvement in operating profitability alongside the expansion in revenue. The results provide a stronger financial base as the company looks towards its next stage of operational growth.

Lead Reclaim and Rubber Products' Manufacturing Expansion Plans

For Lead Reclaim, the next phase of growth is closely linked to strengthening its manufacturing operations. The company has identified expansion of manufacturing capabilities and improved capacity utilisation as key priorities, alongside efforts to strengthen its product portfolio and build deeper relationships with customers across industries.

Commenting on the company's performance and priorities, Mr. Jayeshh Patel, Managing Director of Lead Reclaim and Rubber Products Limited, said, "We believe Lead Reclaim is entering an important phase of its growth journey. Our focus remains on expanding manufacturing capabilities, improving capacity utilisation, strengthening our product portfolio and building deeper relationships with customers across industries."

The company's stated approach is centred on capacity-led growth while maintaining discipline in capital allocation, operational efficiency and profitability. Rather than focusing solely on increasing business volumes, management has indicated that improving utilisation of existing capabilities will remain an important part of its expansion strategy.

India's Rubber Recycling Industry and the Growing Role of Reclaimed Rubber

The company's growth plans also come against the backdrop of a developing rubber recycling ecosystem in India. According to NITI Aayog's January 2026 report, Enhancing Circular Economy of Waste Tyres in India, approximately 3 million metric tonnes of waste tyres were recycled in the country during FY24. Of this, around 0.27 million metric tonnes were processed into reclaim or devulcanised rubber.

The report also highlights the need for greater formalisation, standardisation and value recovery within the waste tyre recycling ecosystem. These developments underline the importance of organised processing capabilities and the wider utilisation of recycled rubber materials across industrial applications.

Lead Reclaim operates in this segment through the manufacture of tyre reclaim rubber, butyl reclaim rubber granules and crumb rubber powder, using recycled scrap rubber as its primary material. Established in 2012, the company has developed its business around converting discarded rubber into materials for industrial use.

Lead Reclaim's Focus on Long-Term Business Growth

Looking ahead, the company aims to build a larger and more diversified presence in the rubber recycling industry. Its priorities include expanding manufacturing capabilities, developing its product range and strengthening customer relationships across sectors.

The improvement in H1 FY27 earnings provides a positive starting point for this next phase. How effectively the company translates its expansion priorities into higher capacity utilisation, stronger customer relationships and sustained profitability will be important to its growth trajectory in the coming periods.
