For many students, the difficult part of studying begins after the school day ends. A chapter may have been explained in class, but the real test often comes later: while attempting questions independently, revising for an examination or trying to understand why an answer went wrong.
This is the space Prepzy.ai is designed to address.
Developed by GlobusLearn Services India Private Limited, Prepzy.ai brings lessons, notes, practice, assessments, doubt resolution and progress tracking together within a single learning platform. Rather than positioning technology as a replacement for classroom teaching, the platform has been built to give students structured support when they are studying on their own.
Making Independent Study More Structured
A student beginning on Prepzy.ai first takes a diagnostic baselining assessment that helps identify areas of strength and learning gaps. Practice exercises, custom tests and recommendations can then be aligned to the learner's level and pace.
The idea is to make progress visible rather than leave students guessing about where they stand.
Prepzy.ai currently offers more than 5,200 video lectures mapped to the CBSE and NCERT syllabus for Classes 6 to 12. The academic material is accompanied by over five years of previous-year questions and syllabus and examination trend analysis, helping students understand not only a concept but also how it may appear in an assessment.
When students encounter a difficult question, Atlas, the platform's AI tutor, can respond through text and voice. Concept Builder takes a slightly different approach, breaking questions down step by step so that learners can understand the method rather than simply arrive at the correct answer.
Learning and doubt resolution are available in Hindi and English, allowing students to work in the language they are more comfortable using.
Beyond Another Study App
What distinguishes the platform's approach is its emphasis on regular use.
For parents, a dedicated dashboard provides visibility into a child's progress. Teachers can similarly view class-wise and individual performance, identify students who may require more attention and follow changes over time.
This creates a learning loop in which the student is not working in isolation, even when studying outside school hours.
Prepzy.ai has already reached more than 100 schools and over 40,000 students across India. It is also being used through government-school initiatives, including all 80 Chief Minister Schools of Excellence in Jharkhand and a pilot reaching more than 3,000 students under the Delhi Directorate of Education.
Founded in February 2024 by Dr. Shivendu S., retired IAS officer and Professor at the University of South Florida, and Arun Reddy, alumnus of Carnegie Mellon University, Prepzy.ai was created around a wider concern: quality academic support should not remain limited to families who can afford conventional coaching.
For Prepzy.ai, the larger measure of success is therefore not how many digital features can be placed inside an app. It is whether students return to study, understand their progress and gradually turn consistency into a habit.
Looking ahead, Prepzy.ai is expanding beyond CBSE, with the NEET preparation platform now live and JEE preparation coming soon, building a broader, affordable AI-powered learning ecosystem for students across India.
