1. What inspired you to partner with Habitat for Humanity India for the âBuild with Abhi' campaign, and why does the cause of safe housing resonate so deeply with you?
A home is much more than four walls. It's where a family feels safe, where children dream, and where hope begins. When I understood the impact Habitat for Humanity India has been creating by working with families from poor, marginalised and vulnerable communities to help them build safe and decent homes, partnering with them felt like a natural choice. Habitat India has impacted over 8 million people through its housing, WASH and disaster resilience initiatives and I'm proud to support the Build with Abhi campaign, which encourages more people to volunteer and be part of this movement. If my voice can inspire even a few more people to help build that sense of security for a family, it's something I'm proud to be a part of.

2. As you continue to engage with families and volunteers through this campaign, what moments or experiences have left the biggest impression on you so far?
What has stayed with me is the incredible spirit of the families and the volunteers. One is driven by hope; the other by compassion. Watching people from different walks of life come together to build something meaningful reminds you that even small efforts, when combined, can create a lasting impact.
3. How has being part of the âBuild with Abhi' campaign shaped your perspective on the importance of safe, secure and dignified housing?
It's made me appreciate that a safe home isn't a luxury-it's a foundation. It impacts health, education, confidence and opportunities. When a family has a secure place to call home, it changes the way they look at the future.
4. The campaign encourages people to move beyond awareness and take action. What message would you like to share with those who are looking for meaningful ways to contribute to causes like this?
You don't have to change the whole world overnight. Start with one step-volunteer, donate, or simply spread awareness. Every contribution matters and together, those small actions can make a real difference in someone's life.
5. India continues to face a significant housing challenge. In your view, why are initiatives like Habitat for Humanity India's Brick-Aid Campaign so important in driving long-term change?
Campaigns like Brick-Aid give people a simple, tangible way to be part of the solution. They remind us that lasting change doesn't happen through one person alone-it happens when communities come together with a shared purpose. That's how stronger, more resilient communities are built.
6. Volunteering is at the heart of Habitat for Humanity India's work. What has this collaboration taught you about the power of collective action and how do you hope to continue supporting this movement going forward?
This experience has reinforced my belief that kindness is most powerful when it's shared. When people come together with a common purpose, the impact goes far beyond building homes-it builds hope and stronger communities. I hope to continue supporting Habitat for Humanity India by encouraging more people to volunteer and become part of this journey.
