The industry got the body wrong for two centuries. A size chart is an average built from data - statistically constructed, regionally inconsistent, and indifferent to the wearer. Return rates in major markets exceed one in three, driven by fit failure. Trillions in supply chain waste. Overproduction starts with mismatch, and mismatch starts with wrong sizing. The fashion industry's carbon footprint follows.
Indian inventor Vatsal Soin has filed the architectures that replaces the average. The 0â1 Doctrine - and apparel-specific novel Global Biometric Size Card (GBSC) - converts every human body and every garment into a governed, privacy-preserving band between 0 and 1. Where bands overlap, fit is authorised. Where they do not, the system routes to human authority before the order is placed - not after the return is made.
GBSC is a fit passport for every body on Earth. It is a mathematical identity of multiple indices that fully describes the human body without storing or transmitting any raw measurement.
Body Fit Index (BFI): Height, chest, waist, hip, torso, shoulder - converted locally to a band on the consumer's device. The original measurement deletes the instant the band is generated. Only the band travels. Clusters span adult, youth, elderly, medical, sportswear, and protective - each sector governed by science-defined parameters.
Posture Fit Index (PFI): Forward head tilt, lumbar curvature, shoulder asymmetry, range of motion. A 12-degree forward posture cluster changes how a collar sits, how a back panel falls, how a sleeve rotates. Existing size charts lack posture details.
Fabric Compliance Index (FCI): The supplier-side capability band for garments. It covers stretch capacity, thermal performance, cultural modesty, medical support, durability, load-bearing capacity, and protective zones - all under one constitutional standard with multiple sub-parameters.
Together - BFI Ã PFI Ã FCI - the GBSC generates a cross-supplier, cross-platform fit token. Factory A in one continent and retailer B in another speak the same language. No raw biometric data crosses any border.
The Digital Twin: The Garment Tries On the Body Before It Is Cut.
The Digital Body Twin mirrors the consumer's BFI and PFI clusters in simulation. The Digital Apparel Twin mirrors the garment's FCI clusters and factory pattern files. They are superimposed inside the server - fabric behavior, stretch zones, posture response, pressure distribution - before a single thread is cut.
A woman's forward posture causes blazer collar ride-up in Digital Twin simulation; pattern adjusted before cutting. Child's uniform fitted for current and six-month growth.
The same twin architecture drives robotic cutting, automated sewing, and bonding systems on the factory floor. The GBSC token - not a human instruction - commands the robot. The band governs the blade.
The Black Box. The Constitution. The Receipt.
The apparel industry runs on black box AI. Recommendation engines that profile, predict, and decide - producing no tamper-proof record of what they decided or why.
The 0â1 Doctrine closes this constitutionally. Every GBSC-matched transaction generates an Actuation Compliance Receipt - post-quantum sealed using CRYSTALS-Dilithium, jurisdiction-portable, auditable by any regulator without receiving the underlying biometric data.
Three axioms govern the system: raw data deletes before it shares; dignity-based decisions route to human authority; every request terminates with one outcome - APPROVE, REJECT, or HOLD. No undecided state.
When quantum computers render today's encryption obsolete, the receipts are forward re-signed - content and timestamp unchanged. Proof that survives the quantum transition.
Footwear: The Constitutional Extension.
Where apparel governs body shape and fabric, footwear governs biomechanics. The Dynamic Fit Index applies the same 0â1 constitutional structure to gait analysis, heel-to-toe angle, arch response, and pressure distribution.
The Digital Foot Twin simulates sole stiffness and load distribution before manufacturing. The Volume Fit Index governs cross-platform sizing simultaneously.
Left foot and right foot - rarely identical, never treated as separate until now. Asymmetry measured, banded, governed. One architecture. Different body. Identical receipt.
One Band. One Receipt.
