India Art Festival
Mumbai is set to welcome one of its most anticipated cultural events as the India Art Festival opens at Nehru Centre, Worli, from 30 January to 1 February 2026. Known for making contemporary art accessible to a wide audience, the festival brings together creativity, diversity, and affordability under one roof.
This edition features a record 45 art galleries from across India, along with international participants from Singapore, Switzerland, and Dubai. Over 550 artists will showcase their work across 150 air-conditioned booths, presenting paintings, sculptures, prints, ceramics, photography, and mixed-media works in a wide range of styles and themes.
What sets India Art Festival apart is its focus on bridging artists and audiences directly. Visitors can meet artists, understand their processes, and explore artworks that range from traditional Indian narratives to bold contemporary expressions. From spiritual symbolism and mythology to urban life, abstraction, and nature-inspired works, the fair reflects the evolving language of Indian art today.
A strong highlight of the festival is the loyalty of its participants. More than 30 galleries and over 100 artists are repeat exhibitors, many of whom have been associated with the festival since it began in Mumbai in 2011. Their continued presence reflects how the fair has grown into a trusted platform for both emerging and established artists.
As art buying increasingly shifts towards event-driven experiences, art fairs worldwide are becoming important spaces for primary sales. India Art Festival mirrors this global trend by offering collectors, first-time buyers, students, and families a welcoming entry point into the art world.
The festival runs till 1 February, with tickets priced at Rs 199, available on BookMyShow. Click to book the ticket: https://in.bookmyshow.com/activities/india-art-festival/ET00427061
