India's textile industry is well positioned to become a global leader in intelligent manufacturing. The Government's PM MITRA Parks, Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme and continued investment in textile infrastructure are creating a strong foundation for technology adoption across the sector.
According to the India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF), India's domestic textile and apparel market is projected to reach US$350 billion by 2030, driven by rising domestic consumption, exports and manufacturing investments. As global buyers increasingly seek digitally enabled, sustainable and reliable manufacturing partners, Indian companies that invest in AI, automation and data-driven decision-making will enjoy a significant competitive advantage.
