Ruchi turned heads on the red carpet, styled like a traditional Rajasthani bride, complete with elaborate kundan jewelry. Her gold lehenga, designed by Roopa Sharma, featured gota patti and mirror work throughout. The custom necklace with PM Modi's pictures was surrounded by red enamel lotuses, pearls, and kundan stones.
A former Miss Haryana, Ruchi is a graduate of Maharani College in Jaipur. She left the Pink City to pursue a career in Mumbai's entertainment industry. After being crowned Miss Haryana 2023, she moved to Mumbai for acting and modeling assignments.
Ruchi has appeared in music videos like "Heli Mein Chor" and "Jab Tu Meri Na Rahi." Since her appearances in these videos, her fan base on social media has grown steadily.
Homebound director Neeraj Ghaywan and the star cast of the film walked the red carpet at the 78th Cannes Film Festival ahead of the film's screening in the Un Certain Regard segment.The director appeared on the red carpet on Tuesday evening along with film's cast Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, Janhvi Kapoor and producer Karan Johar of Dharma Productions.
"From Indian soil to the shores of Cannes - our team Homebound shines moments before the red carpet," Dharma Productions captioned a group photograph of the film's team shared on its official Instagram page on Wednesday morning.
