Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree
Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and YouTuber-actor Dhanashree Verma's split quickly became the talk of the town. While the couple has maintained silence on the matter and the reason behind it, they recently took potshots at each other via podcasts. After Yuzvendra called their marriage fake and opened up about wearing a âbe your own sugar daddy' t-shirt, Dhanashree reacted to it. Looks like the cricketer has also given her a reply.
Dhanashree recently called her divorce painful and slammed Yuzvendra for his immature remarks and viral âbe your own sugar daddy' t-shirt. Now, he has shared a series of pictures having a blissful time in nature. He captioned it, "Million feelings, Zero words."
In an interview with Humans Of Bombay, Dhanashree said, "Everybody is sad and then there is the media circus. You have to be mature about it. I chose maturity over passing immature statements because I don't want to disturb his or my family values."
During a heartfelt chat with Humans Of Bombay, she recalled, "I genuinely feel that the day it actually happened, it was very emotional for me and my family. I still remember when I was standing there and the verdict was about to be given, even though you are so mentally prepared that it is going to happen, it was still so emotional. I literally started howling and crying in front of everybody. I cannot even express what I was feeling at that point of time."
Yuzvendra and Dhanashree got married in December 2020, quickly becoming a fan-favourite couple on social media. After 18 months of living separately, they officially parted ways on March 20, 2025. Chahal caught everyone's attention when he wore a T-shirt that read âbe Your Own Sugar Daddy' on the day of his final divorce hearing. Dhanashree recalled seeing videos of Chahal's T-shirt after she left the court. She admitted that she was surprised by the move, saying "Are bhai, WhatsApp kar deta. T-shirt kyun pehna hai? (You should have sent it on WhatsApp. Why wear the T-shirt?)"
Earlier, Chahal had mentioned that he wore the T-shirt as he wanted to convey a message.
