How did you bag Prince?
The minute Kumar Taurani and Kookie Gulati narrated the story of Prince to me, I instantly knew I wanted to be a part of such an entertaining idea. A great mix of new age cutting edge action and full on filmy, paisa vasool, seetimaar script full of twists, turns and thrills. The combination was irresistible.

Did Race influence you to sign Prince?
I was definitely very impressed with Race and the way Tips had produced and marketed such a quality product with such finesse. The fantastic success of Race speaks volumes for TIPS as a production house.

Was it tough to do all the stunts? How did you prepare yourself for it?
Normally an actor is done with an entire film in a 3 to 4 month period, but for Prince, because of the scale of action and the decision to do all the stunts myself, I had to take 5 months off just for proper training. The stunts were extremely challenging. Whether it was leaping off 50 floor buildings or hanging off a chopper thousands of feet in the air, stunts on bikes in an incredible chase sequence that starts on the streets and goes to the rooftops of buildings, fighting on an upturned SUV in the midst of a raging river rapid in the Himalayan ranges.....we did it all! I had to train extensively to be able to pull it off myself.

In one scene you jump off the roof with Aruna Shields on a bike. Was she scared?
No, in fact, she was very brave! We were all very proud of her. That was a very challenging shot...we were on the terrace of a 32 floor building and had to jump the bike through a ramp across a 60 foot main road onto the terrace of another building 28 floors high. It was crazy but so much fun.

You have done an action packed role in Dum, how different will the Prince experience be for the audience?
Prince is a special film, the technology and style are truly international but the soul is a full on filmy, paisa vasool, seetimaar entertainer. It's a thrilling roller coaster ride.

Why was the film delayed so many times?
Prince was delayed due to the special effects. They are of very high quality and therefore took time to set up.

The rumours that you are seeing Aruna. Was it a publicity stunt?
I am not seeing Aruna, I am single and happy, enjoying my bachelor status.

Your health regimen for the perfect toned body?
For Prince I had to work very hard on my fitness levels. I had to do a lot of martial arts training and cardiovascular exercises for stamina, yoga for flexibility and a followed a good healthy vegetarian diet.

People are grooving over the music of Prince, which song is your personal favorite?
I am very excited that the music of Prince is such a rage, topping charts in India and overseas. My favorite is Tere Liye, it's an addictive melody and I love listening to it.
