'Humshakals' cast's food fiesta

Bipasha Basu, Ram Kapoor, Sajid Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Tamannaah, Esha Gupta and Riteish Deshmukh

Often when actors are working together for a film, they tend to bond with each other especially when they have long shooting schedules. But for the star cast of Humshakals team it was more of bonding over food and having a gala feast on the sets of Sajid's Khan comedy caper. Yes!

You read it right - a big gala feast for literally a week's time. "It started with Saif Ali Khan who would get home-cooked fare which consisted of grilled chicken, vegetable and chicken salads, soups and many other healthy items. Saif made sure all his co-stars - Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor, Tamannaah and Esha Gupta - too followed the diet," informs a source close to the team.

After Saif, it was Riteish Deshmukh who got home cooked food, that consisted of Maharashtrian delicacies like Aamti, Puran Poli, Kolhapuri fish to Shrikhand and that too in large portions for all his co-stars on the sets. "With the boys getting home-cooked food, why would the leading ladies shy away? They too got along big dabbas from their home. Tamannaah would get Sindhi food like Sindhi Kadhi while Esha would get hardcore Punjabi food," adds our source.

Well, sounds yummy enough for a movie set.
