We know that Abhay Deol has always been choosy about his endorsements. He swears he'll never endorse a cigarette brand or even Fair and Lovely for that matter. "If there's a product for the dark and sexy, I'm your man," he laughs. But for now, the unconventional style icon is happy being the face of Indian Terrain, a formal and semi-formal men's clothing brand.
When CS met him at the brand's press conference, Abhay seemed at his wittiest best. A specialist in giving tongue-in-cheek answers, the actor wasn't the least bit unnerved when a journalist reminded him of his earlier claim that he would stay away from brand endorsements.

"I think I said that I'm going to be selective in the products I endorse. I'm happy to be associated with Indian Terrain and I hope that I help increase their sales," he beamed.
Casually dressed in a checked shirt and jeans, Abhay said that his personal style statement was always understated. "I live in jeans and tees. Though I am not experimentative by nature, there are days when I do don a waistcoat or a hat," he said. When a journalist asked him which film he looked the most stylish in, the actor burst out laughing.
Style and Abhay might be a bit of an antithesis, but the audience helped him decide on Dev D. And when we asked him who his style gurus were, his list was as hatke as the man himself. He said, "I like Kajol's dressing sense and Salman's. He really has a distinct style."

Well so do you, Abhay. We always see you in casuals. We hope to see you experimenting a little more, now that you're the face of a popular apparel brand.
