Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to star in Raat Aur Din remake?

There's buzz that after Fanney Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has given her nod to a mystery thriller. It is believed to be inspired by the Nargis Dutt-starrer Raat Aur Din (1967). The film, which won critical acclaim, had Nargis playing a character with multiple personality disorder.

The remake will be produced by Prernaa Arora and Siddharth Anand.

There is also talk that the makers are keen that Sanjay Dutt come on board, but he is yet to give his nod. It will be interesting to see the Bachchan bahu play a character with grey shades. Earlier, she teamed up with Dutt in Leena Yadav's Shabd (2005).
