Anil Ambani, Brad Pitt to produce second film

The two are teaming up to turn the book The Imperfectionists into a film

Anil Ambani's Reliance BIG Entertainment and Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment have bought the rights to a film adaptation of the book The Imperfectionists. But instead of a Bollywood or Hollywood film, it will be meant for an international audience. Scripting is expected to begin soon.

The Imperfectionists by Tom Rachman is set in a newspaper office in Rome and follows three characters as they try to make their mark in the field of journalism. Brad and Anil are hoping to get Tom Rachman on board too.

Meanwhile, scripting has already begun on their other collaboration, Dark Void, and pre production work is expected to begin soon. Anil and Brad had bought the rights to make a movie out of the video game last year. Brad is expected to play the main character of the cargo pilot Will Augustus Grey.
