If actor Soha Ali Khan is in a mall, she'll first go looking for a bookstore. And when she finds one, she'll buy as many as she her tiny hands can manage to carry.
When CS met her, she was devouring a volume of The Best of Tehelka, and clearly didn't seem bored of reading heavyduty journalistic exposes. We managed to get her to put the book aside for a quick chat:
Time out
These days I have so many books to finish -- I buy them faster than I can read them. We actors have a lot of free time on the sets, so I always carry a book along with me.
Somehow, I'm quite distrusting of technology that needs to be charged -- I think it's unreliable and unhealthy. So I try not to get too dependent on my laptop or phone. For me, reading is a very healthy way of killing time.
Booked
I'm not someone who loves shopping for clothes and shoes and bags and jewellery. So if there's one thing that I would want to spend my money on, it's books.
And with the advent of online portals, I don't even have to worry about lugging my purchases around. I can just order any number of books. These days my library is overflowing with books, and it looks very impressive.u00a0
