So very happy for Sachin Tendulkar being named Cricketer of the Year. He has donated his fourth-highest ODI scoring (163*; v/s New Zealand) bat for Equation, our sports auction.
8 am: So very happy for Sachin Tendulkar being named Cricketer of the Year. He has donated his fourth-highest ODI scoringu00a0 (163'; v/s New Zealand) bat for Equation, our sports auction.
10.30 am: Proofreading the Equationu00a0 brochure. This stuff takes time. It's like going back to school.
1 pm: At my second home Narayan's studio. Today Ramdas and I are designing a free ad for the auction. The ad turns out neat and nice. When you have a great product, where is the need to be clever?
Happy for you, Sachin: And thanks for the donation!
4 pm: Sit down for make up. Deepak, my make up man has been valiantly resurrecting my face, hiding the 76 stitches, making me human. Am shooting for a calendar for non-profit.
6 pm: Swim at Bombay Gymkhana. Am a little sore after yesterday's run.
8 pm: Have a long chat with Ashish Raheja on the invitee list for the auction. His company are partners with us.
10 pm: Started making all the calls inviting friends for Oct 29 (the date of the auction). Sure invites will be sent, but there's nothing like a human voice. One call made, 239 to go. Thank you for patiently reading my diary all week. I would like to end this lovely interface by inviting all of you to the public preview on Oct 26 and 27. See you all.
