The Dabanng unit's idea of 'scaring' Malaika by blowing up posters of Ahuja, gets her giggling instead
Be scared, be very scared. That's what Farah Khan told Malaika Arora Khan while shooting a song for Dabanng.
The cast and crew of the film were shooting at Filmistan for a rustic item song. The scene required Malaika to look very scared. Several takes later, Farah wasn't too happy with Malaika's expressions. So the crew came up with an idea to scare her.
They decided to find some pictures of Shiney Ahuja and hold them up for the actress to seeu00a0 them and react!
The crew then went out and collected pictures of Shiney and created huge placards which the assistants held them behind the camera. "Malaika was asked to pretend that she was a housemaid and then react to posters.
She had to look scared but after seeing Shiney's photo, she was in splits."u00a0 Unit members tried to keep their stunt under wraps, because they didn't want to offend Shiney, and it is politically incorrect.
"As soon as the shot was canned, all those posters were removed and destroyed. None of them wanted anyone to find out how they used Shiney to scare Malaika. However, news soon got out and people started talking about it."
