Actress Deepika Padukone, who will be celebrating Holi with her family, on Monday said coconut oil can protect hair from colours on this festive occasion.
"Last year during Holi, I was filming in Canada for 'The Return Of Xander Cage'. This year I will be celebrating the festival at home with my family. During the festival all of us religiously apply coconut oil. It protects my hair and also repairs any damage caused by the colours," Deepika said in a statement.
She said her best Holi memory was playing with colour and water guns with her friends in her apartment.
Asked what her favourite Holi song is, she said it is "Balam Pichkaria" from her own film "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani".
Deepika said she prefers home-cooked food on Holi.
