If Anurag Basu has his way, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor may just be seen in another film together again. After Katrina Kaif walked out of Anurag's Silence, the director approached the Om Shanti Om star. Even though Katrina had been Anurag's first choice, he has now made it very clear that he wants Deepika in that role. If she refuses it, he will try to find a newcomer.

Deepika had earlier said that she has no qualms working with Ranbir and will not let their personal equation come in the way of good films. But though Deepika is very interested in Silence, she is yet to give her final nod to the project.

Silence revolves around Ranbir Kapoor who plays a deaf and mute character. Priyanka Chopra has a pivotal role as a mentally challenged girl. It was because Anurag signed Priyanka without informing Katrina, that the latter opted out of the film. So far, Deepika has not expressed any qualms about working with Priyanka.
