Esha Deol is all set to make a comeback with her mom Hema Malini's film Tell Me Oh Khuda. She plays a young girl who embarks on a journey to find her true parents. She will have a deglamorised look.

Esha, who made her debut in 2002 with Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche, went underground after a string of flops. She was last seen in Kunal Shivdasani's Hijack (2008). She did not have a release last year, but two of her films Chai Garam and Kaanch u2013 The Broken Glass are expected to release later this year.

Tell Me Oh Khuda is Hema Malini's second feature film as director. Her first one was the Jeetendra-Mithun Chakraborty-Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dil Aashna Hai. Earlier she had directed two television serials. The first was Nupur in 1990, in which she played a dancer opposite Kabir Bedi. The show was an instant hit. Five years later, she directed and produced her second television serial, Mohini.
