After making youth centric films such as Dil Chahta Hai and producing Rock On!!!, Farhan Akhtar is all set to enter history and make a period film. Farhan revealed that the film will be set in the pre independence era but will not be based on actual events. The script and other details are yet to be fully worked out.
Meanwhile, Farhan is busy with the pre production work of his next film, Don 2, the sequel of his 2006 film Don. Shooting is expected to begin in October. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra.
