However, that did not happen. Now, the makers of the next Bond film have shortlisted her again and is one of the top names on the list. If Frieda agrees to do the film, she will be the first Indian actress to be a Bond girl.
Frieda, who shot to international fame with Slumdog Millionaire, is one of the most sought after Indian actors in Hollywood. She recently bagged the Woody Allen movie You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger and will be paid USD 3 million for it, if unconfirmed reports are to be believed. She has also appeared on almost every chat show from The Oprah Winfrey show and The Tyra Banks show to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Show with David Letterman.
