He's a percussionist, a composer and a performer. And now for the first time, Australian musician Ben Walsh is all set to showcase a unique production for the Indian audience.

It's a celebration of 100 years of cinema and what better way to celebrate Australia's connect with India than by showcasing a theatrical experience involving Fearless Nadia - the Australian actress and stuntwoman who rose to fame in Indian cinema during the 1930s. Ben speaks to CS about the concept:

Drawing inspirationu00a0
The show was inspired by a fest in Australia. They commisioned me to make something on Nadia. I came to India, spent six months here and saw a lot of her films. We wanted to the show a theatrical experience, with a lot of dance, music and drama.

Deeper connect
The response in Australia to the show was good, but nobody had heard of Nadia there. However, in India, we're anticipating a response that's more connected, as people have seen her films and know about her.

Iconic personality
Nadia was not just a stuntwoman but an icon. She was very progressive politically. She showed a lot of bravery in doing those stunts. She broke boundaries and took a lot of risks. u00a0
