Full of plans

Diwali calls for some attention to self and family. Actress Anjana Sukhani will be spending the festive period with her mom and brother and buying herself a home. Here's what she says:

Diwali is... the time to go crazy with colours, sweets, shopping and more. It's the time to celebrate with family and loved ones.

This Diwali I plan to... I am going to spend some quality time with my brother and a new addition to my family that is my bhabhi-to-be. My brother has flown down from UK after so many years; I'm going to make the most of the time I get to spend with him.

On the menu... is a typical Sindhi meal. My mom and I both love to cook, so I am sure it's going to be a great meal.

A gift to myself... will be a new flat for my mom and me. Last year, I bought a diamond jewellery set. It was a typically traditional uncut velandi. It's my most prized possession till date.u00a0

On my shopping list... clothes, jewellery, perfumes, bags, stilettos, a new phone; the list is endless.

I'll deck up in... definitely something Indian. It'll most probably be this beautiful Zardozi salwar kameez that I bought.

Will indulge in... all the sweets. Jalebi and milk is something I enjoy the most in Diwali.

A change I'd want to bring about... reduce the noise and air pollution during festive time.
