Cancer Aid & Research Foundation, a registered medical NGO, will be celebrating its 9th Foundation Day at Sri Shanmukhananda Chandrashekarendra, Saraswati Auditorium, 292, Comrade Harbansalal Marg, Sion (E) on June 20 from 4:30 pm onwards.

A musical extravaganza with dance performances, mimicry and puppet show by ventriloquist Ramdas Padhye will take place at the event.

Film producer Mahesh Bhatt will preside over the function. Dr Rehan Kazi, secretary general of the Foundation, and head and neck cancer surgeon, will welcome dignitaries of Virim Infotech Pvt Ltd, the main sponsors for the evening.

The NGO offers treatments like radiotherapy, chemotherapy and surgery for free to poor cancer patients. And is constructing an exclusive cancer hospital at Ratnagiri.
