The opening ceremony of IPL 3 saw the biggest celebrities descend at Mahalaxmi Race Course on Thursday night. Industrialists, cricketers and Bollywood stars shone on the red carpet. Mumbai Indians owners Mukesh and NIta Ambani were present and so were their players Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan and Sachin Tendulkar. Shane Warne of Rajasthan Royals looked dapper in a blue suit while Royal Challengers Bangalore owner Vijay Mallya waved at camerapersons in a black and red suit. B-twon was well represented by Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shah Rukh Khan and Poonam Dhillon. Lending their men support were Gauri Khan and Anjali Tendulkar. At the helm of it all was the man who conceived the whole concept, Lalit Modi.
