Muffler mania
Just for the record... Akshay wore this style first. He was followed by Adhyayan Sumanu2026 and now by SRK himself. Man! Akki must be feeling real good about himself now!

Slumdog Millionaire has got an 'A' certificate in English while the Hindi version Slumdog Crorepati gets a 'U/A' certificate. Anil Kapoor explains, "That's because we didn't want to change anything in the English version so from dialogue to scenes everything has remained exactly the same.
But in the Hindi version, we have removed foul language and a few other things which could be offensive for the Indian viewers." So those watching the English version can handle offence better, eh?
Meanwhile...
Those who've watched Raaz 2 previews were shocked with the cheap and vulgar abuses used by Kangana Ranaut in the film. But after seeing the horrified expressions of people who saw the film, director Mohit Suri chopped off the gaali-galoj scenes.
Remember how Kangy kept saying bas'''' in Fashion? Thankfully, making the lass mouth gaalis won't become the next trend.
The promotion continues: The cast of Raaz The Mystery Continues is still on the promotional rounds. Check them out as they take on PVR cinemas at Phoenix Mills.
TV gets the chillies
The competition in television might just get hotteru2026 literally. Beginning tomorrow, (Friday, January 30) Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment production house breaks into television with Ghar Ki Baat Hai a serial inspired by Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi.
SRK is coming full circle after starting off on TV with Fauji, where he played the bright-eyed, bushy-tailed Abhimanyu Rai. At that time, did he ever think of producing television serials?
Says SRK, "As a company, this is our first foray into television production and I am equally thrilled and." Well, maybe, Ekta Kapoor's Balaji has some serious KKK-ompetition now.u00a0
Laxmibai 'Sush'ed?
Buzz is that Sushmita is planning to shelve her maiden production Rani Laxmibai. The film has been in pre-production stage for the longest time. Sush decided to produce it herself, when she didn't find buyers for the expensive project.
But now in the recession-hit industry, she is having trouble keeping her dream afloat. Sources reveal that she's not yet been able to garner the needed budget for the biopic and chances are that the film will mostly likely be delayed till the industry recovers. So Sush fans will just have to wait...
Double talk
Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra was recently heard blasting Sanjay Dutt and the Samajwadi Party on the usage of the Munnabhai persona on a TV news channel.
Chopra, in his typically blunt manner. He spoke about how disappointed he was that Dutt was misusing the Munnabhai name, which had been created for films and entertainment and not for political gains. Chopra hasn't even spared the SP.
A VCF spokesperson however says, "Vinod and Sanjay are family. If they have a problem with each other, they will not discuss it on a public platform." How convenient! The usually articulate Chopra already appears to be learning the politics of double talk.
Spotted
Pammi Baweja at the Four Bungalow gurudwara on Tuesday evening. We saw her step out of her blue Honda City and make a beeline for the sanctum sanctorum. A birdie says that Hurman Baweja's mom is a regular at the gurudwara. Must be to seek divine intervention for her son's film Victory that releases tomorrow.
