Apoorva to take on Sanjay Gupta on his own turf
Apoorva Lakhia, still hurt about the dismal performance of Mission Istaanbul, has finalised the script for his next film.
And what's more, in a blatant gesture of defiance at Sanjay Gupta, he has named it Another Shootout and roped in Sanjay Dutt and Amitabh Bachchan for the lead roles.

Good Shot: Apoorva Lakhia |
Apoorva Lakhia's Shootout at Lokhandwala was a surprise hit of 2007. But that did not stop its producer Sanjay Gupta from breaking his ties with Apoorva and the film's star Sanjay Dutt.
He even announced Shootout In Parliament, based on the terror attack in December 2001, without Apoorva and Sanjay. But while that film remains on hold, Apoorva is ready with Another Shootout.

Apoorva is sending clear signals to Gupta and his new business partner Ekta Kapoor.
Ekta had signed Apoorva to direct a film starring the winners of the Kaun Jeetega Bollywood ka Ticket contest. But when Mission Istaanbul bombed at the BO, she sacked Apoorva.
However, Dutt is still supportive of Apoorva. "I had told Apu that the day he writes a brilliant script, I'll happily be a part of it," says Dutt.
True to his word, when Apoorva narrated the story to the actor, he immediately agreed to be a part of the film.
Another Shootout is to be produced by Sohail Maklai.
