The Nishabd actress is stuck in London due to the volcanic ash cloud disrupting European flights
Jiah Khan has been conspicuous by her absence from the promotional activities of Sajid Khan's Housefull. The actress considers the film her big ticket and is disappointed that she can't be part of numerous events in the days leading to its release.
Khan turns up at Heathrow airport every day only to return home disappointed. She has yet to be told when can fly out to Mumbai.
Can't do much
Says Jiah, "I could never have imagined such a situation. I am extremely upset. But then, natural disasters are something you can't do much about. I am told the volcano last erupted in 1821 and that there was great mayhem even then."
She was slated to join the Housefull team last week for the film's promotional activities. In England for the past two months, Khan left for London on the eve of her birthday to celebrate quality time with her folks as the shoot of Housefull had wrapped up. She was particularly looking forward be in time to return for the promotions of Housefull. "Right now, I just want to land in Mumbai," says Jiah.
