Sharman Joshi can't stop beaming from ear to ear. His last film 3 Idiots did better than he expected it to and his upcoming project too seems to have 'a lot of potential.' CS gets the actor talking about all that's been keeping him busy:
Being an idiotI am delighted with the success of 3 Idiots. I never expected it to do so well, though we had an inkling that we were working on an interesting project. But I had never anticipated that I would receive so much love and appreciation from the audience. Even though the Chetan Bhagat controversy might have been a spoiler, it didn't steal the film's glory. It was too trivial a matter to affect any of us.
Coming up...Now I'm excitedly looking forward to my upcoming film Toh Baat Pakki that releases on February 19. It is a light comedy starring Tabu, Vatsal Seth and me. In the film, Tabu is trying very hard to find a perfect groom for her sister. She persuades me to marry her sister and then backtracks when she meets Vatsal. The drama that unfolds is highly entertaining. Working on the film was a lot of fun. It's unfortunate that I couldn't get to romance Tabu though. I would love to do that even though it would be a seemingly unusual pairing!
