The mom's a veteran theatre artist while the girl's acting career has just taken off with Rocket Singh, Salesman of the Year. The mom finds Shazahn more than a friend while the little one tags mommy dear as the world's best mom-ager. Mother-daughter duo Sharon Prabhakar and Shazahn Padamsee tell CS how they bring out the best in each other:

WHO: Sharon Prabhakar and Shezahn Padamsee
WHAT: Talking about the bond that they share
WHERE: At their Bandra residence

As an actor
Sharon:
Shahzan is a volcano of talent. She has magnetism, vulnerability and a purity that I haven't seen in a long time. She is a very hardworking person and completely focussed.
Shazahn: Mom is an absolutely fabulous actor. She's been a huge influence on me and is a complete workaholic. As an actor, she's Evita to me. I must have seen the play at least 50 times, and every time she sings Don't Cry For Me Argentina, I'm moved to tears.

To me she is...
Sharon:
She's more than just a daughter, she's a friend and someone whom I admire a lot for her values and beliefs and for the way she conducts herself.
Shazahn: I call her mom-a-ager -- she's my mother, friend and a manager! She's a supermom. She's extremely loving and caring and very hands-on. But the best thing is that she gives me a lot of space and lends me advice only when I go to her for it.

I admire her for...
Sharon:
I admire the fact that Shazahn gives 100 per cent in whatever she does. She has this tremendous calm in great moments of stress, which I find very inspiring. Shazahn is not at all selfish; she's a giver and feels for the poor and needy. I would like to imbibe these qualities from her, especially her sense of giving.
Shazahn: I admire how mom has the courage to do so many things at the same time; she's great at juggling. But mostly I admire how brave she is. When mom was at the peak of her career, she didn't let her mother's death pull her down, though it was extremely tough to carry on with the commitments made.

Memory I cherish...
Sharon:
I made the mistake of sending her to the Sahyadri boarding school on the outskirts of Pune when she was just 10. The agony was so high that I got her back in eight months. Parents weren't allowed to meet their kids for around two-three months. So I would organise drama workshops out there just so that I could see her.
Shazahn: The boarding school days hold a special memory for me too. I was ecstatic to see mom as my drama teacher and I spent as much time as I could with her; the best part was that I got to stay in the VIP guest house instead of my dorm when mom was in school!
