Sanjay Gadhvi's next, a love story titled Seven Days In Paris, is in trouble. The hunt for a leading lady is on even though sets are due to go up this July. Katrina Kaif, who had earlier agreed to do the film, has backed out.
A source in the industry reveals, "Kat was excited to be paired opposite Imran for this romantic film. But she had some issues with the script and had told writer-director Gadhvi to make some changes.
Gadhvi complied but Kat wasn't satisfied and she opted out of the project."
The source further adds, "Gadhvi approached Kareena next, but for some reason that didn't happen either. Asin was the next choice.
Talks are on and a confirmation is expected to follow shortly."
Kidnap's failure at the B-O is being cited as the reason why the industry's top leading ladies are giving this flick a miss.
Katrina and her spokesperson remained unavailable for comment.
