Lara Dutta stepped out with boyfriend Mahesh Bhupathi at the Filmfare awards over the weekend. This is the first time the actress and the tennis player have been spotted together in public. That too in full media glare. The couple obviously now want the world to know about their relationship as they willingly posed for the scores of shutterbugs at the venue.

After months of denial and a no-comment stance, Lara has finally made her romance public with Mahesh. Buzz about the two did the rounds as soon as she split with Dino Morea last year. With Dino having moved on and getting serious about his old flame Nandita Mahtani, it appears that Lara, too, has decided to make things official (well almost!) about her man.

As reported, 'Marriage on the mind', Dino and Nandita plan to get hitched this year.

As soon as Lara had broken off with live-in lover Kelly Dorje, she found herself in the arms of his best buddy Dino. Kelly had reportedly claimed that his best friend had backstabbed him by lying about his affair with Lara. But things fizzled out soon on the Lara-Dino front with the star paring up with the tennis champ.

It appears that Bhupathi has now finally created a racket with a star as his arm candy. As his divorce with his former wife, model Swetha Jaishankar, has also come through, it is the beginning of a new game for him with Lara.
