After the enthusiastic response Shah Rukh Khan received at the Berlin International Film Festival, his latest film My Name Is Khan will now be dubbed in German to reach out to a wider audience. While the details are yet to be fully worked out, producers Fox Star Studios has decided to dub it in Turkish too and subtitle it in Arabic and Polish. Apparently, the Middle-East and Polish audiences prefer watching Bollywood films in Hindi and reading the subtitles instead of watching the dubbed versions, while it's the exact opposite in Germany and Turkey.
They will release 50 prints of MNIK with subtitles in Poland. Fox had taken the film to 45 countries when it released on February 12. Now they expect to take it to another 25 countries in the next four months.
