Rohit Shetty's Golmaal 3 features a lot of his favourite starsu00a0-- Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi,u00a0Tusshar Kapoor and othersu00a0-- who he loves repeating in his films. But none more than a canine named Jerry; who was also part of Shetty's Sunday and All The Best.
In G3, Jerry plays Kareena Kapoor's pet and he keeps his original name. Jerry belongs to an animal supplier and since he was already familiar with Rohit's unit they decided to go with him, rather than another dog.
The actress is not fond of animals but she's okay with Jerry as he is well-behaved at most times. He infuriates Bebo sometimes by simply walking off from the shot, when she is in the moment.
It's hot!A unit member adds, "Recently, Kareena and Jerry were shooting in the hot Goa sun. After two takes, Jerry just walked off without giving his third shot. When Rohit asked the actress what happened to him she said 'bechare ko dhoop lag gayi.' The actress has no option but to wait for the pooch to get into "work mode". On another day, he found the ground too hot to stand on, and slipped inside one of the villas. Finally, the unit put a special black cloth for him to stand on, so he wouldn't burn his paws."
Rohit confirms, "We wanted the best pet for Kareena and Jerry is that. He knows the unit people and my whole unit spoils him. Though sometimes, Bebo has to match steps with him she's very cool and patient and always waits for him. She doesn't mind at all."
