Milkha Singh favours Akshay over Abhishek

Both Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan are strong contenders to play Milkha Singh in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Rakeysh is yet to take a decision and will do so only after the script is in place. However, Milkha favours Akshay as he believes he is the only actor who can do justice to the role and being a Punjab ka Puttar, fits the bill perfectly. Milkha is aware that Akshay is an athlete in real life too and has the necessary physique. Milkha also feels that Akshay can enact the emotional sequences very well.

Shooting for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag will begin next year.
