Riteish, who has always been an ardent advocate of education says, "Usha Laxman (RK Laxman's daughter andone of the people behind Muktangan) asked me to join.

It's a great initiative they have started. Muktangan is not only about change in education but empowers people within the community.
They have enlisted a few BMC schools and teach children from the age of 6 to Class 6. It's a unique system of education where teachers and students are all treated equally they all sit in a circle at the same level.
Teachers are also part of the learning process. It's a new way of teaching."
