It's winter time so focus on keeping yourself covered, as opposed to wearing skimpy clothes. Fully-clothed is sexy too. It all depends on the weather in Mumbai too.
Make up magic
The right make-up is important this season. Since the skin becomes dry, it is important to go all out with moisturising creams, lotions, packs; etc. You can even use creamy make-up such as cream blusher, eye shadow, and have fun with colour on your face.
Get colourful
The right colours for the season are olive green, rich brown, navy blue, rich purple, and the usual black and grey. You can also play with orange, pink, yellow, turquoise blue, and beige. Buy light sweaters in these colours.
Boot up
Winter is the time to show off your classy boots. I love Jimmy Choo and Louboutin boots. It is a smart idea to pair a knee-length dress with calf-length boots. Be careful about the length of the boots and make sure it looks right to you. Stuff your jeans into your boots. They should be comfortable too.
Experiment a little
Have fun this winter and create your own style statement. Buy Scottish-checks skirts that are knee-length long. Or go Indian and wear rich shawls and Kashmiri coats. Dress to be comfortable in Mumbai's weather.
