Farhan Akhtar, it appears, devours gossip columns. Last week, rumours flew thick and fast that the actor-filmmaker and buddy Aditya Roy Kapur were embroiled in a cold war over Farhan's 'special friend' Shraddha Kapoor, also Aditya's ex-flame.
Reports of Aditya getting too close to the actress at Mahesh Bhatt's bash last week had apparently irked Farhan. But, rubbishing speculations, Farhan took to social media yesterday to share this snapshot from Karan Johar's bash.
He wrote, "And that, as they say, is that. RIP, rumours." Farhan was evidently keen to put speculations to rest, but if there was no truth to the buzz, why bother setting the record straight? Or, like they say, is there never smoke without fire?
