Shruti Haasan gets a taste of B-Town notoriety
Even before her debut film Luck releases, Shruti Haasan has been embroiled in a controversy. Kamal Haasan and Sarika's daughter is already experiencing the dark side of B-Town.
A fortnight ago, an infamous star secretary proclaimed that he was looking after her work in B-Town. But over the weekend, the newbie darted out a statement stating that no-one is handling her film assignments!
Shruti, who is currently dubbing for Luck, has Bunty Sachdev's company handling her work and endorsements.

But Prakash Jaju (infamous for his imbroglio with former client Priyanka Chopra), claims that he was approached by Bunty's office to look after her film projects.
I have proof!
Says Jaju, "I was asked by Bunty's office and a meeting was held at Worli on April 9.
I was told to look after her film assignments as they would concentrate on events and her endorsements. I requested them to give me in writing stating so.

Later that evening, I was told that their legal people were not available that day and that I could proceed with her film projects. I have all the text messages from them."
Taken by surprise
But within days when Shruti sent a clarification that she has not appointed anyone to handle her work, Jaju was taken by surprise.

"I was clearly told by Bunty's office to handle her film so I was shocked to read about her clarification letter. Why have a meeting with me without informing the client?" asks Jaju.
Soon after, the star secretary received another text message stating he stop working on Shruti's film assignments immediately.
Bunty, who is presently in South Africa says, "I am shocked to hear his claims. In fact, it was Prakash Jaju himself who first called Shruti.
He found her number and called her. He claimed he had seen her in an ice cream ad and wanted to work for her. As we represent her, Shruti simply put him on to us."
Bunty adds, "Despite knowing his past history and the Priyanka episode, we heard him out. Years ago, he had messed up an ad we were supposed to do with Priyanka. But we were still polite to him as he is also from the industry.
He came to our office telling us his sob story that no one wanted to be associated with him and that he was looking for work. We told him that if there was anything for Shruti he could bring it on the table.

But I am shocked that he could place ads in trade magazines declaring himself to be her secretary! Shruti was extremely upset by this and as a result, had to give a clarification."
Bunty further states, "If he says he has saved all the SMSes, even I have all his SMSes. He has been messaging me to say that he has two lucrative offers for Shruti.
But why should I even bother to respond to him after what he has done? And to think that we were only being nice to him."
Apart from acting in Luck, Shruti is also scoring the music for the Tamil remake of Neeraj Pathak's A Wednesday.
